Parks and playground projects can be as simple as laying new soft play surfaces or as complex as landscaping, laying foundations for equipment, installing the play equipment and then laying surfacing. Below are three of our most recent projects on park and playgrounds.

Shadsworth Nursery

At Shadsworth Children’s Centre we completed a whole re-vamp of the outdoor play areas. This included; site clearance, excavations, installation of specialist play equipment and furniture, laying soft play surfaces in various colours and patterns, line-marking, soft landscaping (plants and turf) and installing new gates, posts and fencing.

St Michael’s and St John’s

At St Michael's and St John's School we produced a car-park, as per specification and site drawings to the client’s satisfaction.

We installed edgings before laying and compacting the sub-base, base course and wearing course. Our line-marking sub-contractors then marked out the parking bays, as per instructions, including disabled parking bays and hatching around the door entrance.

Ribchester MUGA

Our brief was to create a level self / sustainable drainage system and multi-use games area for the village community. The fencing and sports equipment had to boast credentials of low environmental impact. On the site of a former Roman settlement, the installation had to be repositioned following the findings of archaeologists working during our excavations.
Close liaison with our client and our commitment to flexible working allowed us to deliver this project on time and within budget.
