Asbestos

Asbestos Survey, Management, Consultant, and Waste Management team.

Asbestos Survey

We can arrange a specialist asbestos consultancy service ensuring our clients comply with current legislation identifying all materials thought to contain asbestos or material which could be mistaken for asbestos. We undertake asbestos survey reporting – both management and refurbishment / demolition surveys, designed to give a definitive picture of the composition of your building.

Asbestos Management

The need for asbestos management will be covered in our Asbestos Management Plan unique to your premises. Our Asbestos Risk Management report will show you and your staff all aspects of the essentials for the safe management of Asbestos. It further shows all the areas of asbestos on a site plan so those who may not be totally familiar with your site will be able to identify the material and carry out the appropriate asbestos management efficiently and safely.

Asbestos Consultant

We can arrange for a consultant that is completely independent of any asbestos removal company and will act entirely for your benefit and carry out our asbestos consultancy brief with no other motive than your best interests. In the event that removal work is required we would show you listings of accredited companies and let you make your selection. Once you make your choice we are happy to price and oversee the work carried out.

Site Waste Management

From 6th April 2008 new regulations came into force for the management of waste on sites in order to divert material from landfill and reduce fly tipping. Where the value of a project exceeds £300,000 plans and records must be kept detailing the type of waste, whether it was reused, recycled or recovered, who moved it and where it is disposed of. Aside from the positive environmental impact, we can pass cost savings on to our clients by means of our comprehensive waste management plans. Avoiding the £50,000 fine is also most welcome!
